Don't Let BLM Kill The WILD in our Wild Horses!
Please act to save WILD horses now! The Senate will soon be working on the Interior Department's Appropriations FY21 bill.
The House FY21 Interior Appropriations intends that $11 million be spent on humane PZP fertility control. BUT -- the remaining $91 million still funds the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) plan for massive roundups and controversial surgical sterilization that will kill the "WILD" in our wild horses.
Natural, "wild" behaviors are what separate wild horses from domestic ones. The majesty of our wild mustangs is in their complex social structure and their passion for freedom and family. These behaviors we love are driven by biology. BLM's plan to geld wild stallions and ovarietomize wild mares will destroy what makes these animals who they are.
Natural "wild" behaviors are exactly what made Cloud the inspiring, fierce stallion he was.
They are what makes Phoenix (his mother) the wise lead mare she is today. Stallions and mares like Cloud and Phoenix exist on every HMA in the West. We must stand up for them and their families NOW.

Below is a script - PLEASE stick to the script! This important language to be added in appropriations! (please leave a message if you don't speak with someone):
Hi, my name is ____________. I'm calling as an American constituent because Senator _______ is an influencial member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. I urge the Senator to include a requirement in Appropriations that the Bureau of Land Management protect natural "wild" behaviors in all on-range management of wild horses. Without protecting the "wild," America's wild horses will be nothing more than pasture horses on public lands.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING ACTION TO HELP OUR WILD HORSES! We sincerely appreciate your support of these magnificent animals and our important work to save them!
