Blue Wing Wild Horses & Burros Need a Fair Management Plan. Weigh in Now for our NV Wild Equines!

The Winnemucca, NV BLM is preparing a long-term Herd Area Management Plan (HMAP) for the vast Blue Wing Complex which includes 5 HMA’s, encompassing over 981,000 acres(that's 1500 square miles - or the size of Rhode Island). BLM says more than 2,400 wild horses call this Complex home

This is your opportunity to make your voice heard for fair and humane management to preserve natural "wild" behaviors, family units, and freedom ... and perhaps most importantly, give wild horses and burros their fair share

We must stop BLM from penalizing wild horses to accommodate commercial livestock use of our public lands to succeed in getting them the protections they need and deserve.

📣Tell BLM...

  • Stop penalizing wild horses to accommodate commercial livestock use of our public lands.

  •  Secure the protections wild horses and burros need and were granted in the 1971 Act.

  •  Stop bowing to special interest groups — public land ranchers and livestock associations — in the management of OUR public lands.

  •  End the “good ol’ boy” status quo.

This fight may be long, but we are in it to SUCCEED.

Please never underestimate the importance of YOUR VOICE.  Use it today and submit your comments directly to BLM before June 1 by clicking the link below.

Including ONLY the PUBLIC LANDS (not the private lands currently being used or any of the other land included in the 2+ million-acre complex) ...

* … the estimated 2400 WHB in the complex have 409 acres each to forage

* … BLM's AML of 643 wild horses and burros would allow 1,526 acres per equine

* … calculating at the low AML of 388... 2528 acres per horse/burro
