West Douglas/Piceance East Douglas Lawsuit
On September 4, 2015 a lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia against the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) by The Cloud Foundation (TCF), Wild Horse Freedom Federation (WHFF), The Colorado Wild Horse and Burro Coalition (CWHBC), Dr. Don Moore, Ms. Toni Moore and Barb Flores to block the removal of all horses from the West Douglas Herd Area (WDHA), and a significant number from the Piceance East Douglas Herd Management Area (PEDHMA).
