Quick Action to END GonaCon Sterilization of Teddy Roosevelt Horses
OCT. 28, 2024
Last week we asked you to make calls for the wild horses living in the Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota ... today we are asking for you to take a quick action by using our action alert below. The U.S. Park Service has captured the horses in the Teddy Roosevelt National Park (TRNP) to administer the permanent sterilant Gonacon. We said it before (and we'll keep saying it), as few as two applications of Gonacon can permanently sterilize horses. This happens because Gonacon literally destroys reproductive organs (i.e. ovaries).
Again, big CONGRATULATIONS to local citizens, especially the grassroots group Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates, in North Dakota who fought hard and succeeded in stopping the Park Service's plan to permanently remove horses. Locals rallied support from state legislators Governor Doug Burgum and Senator John Hoeven who went to bat for stopping the Park Service's ill-conceived removal plan.
Please take quick action below to End the use of Gonacon which WILL STERILIZE and ultimately DESTROY this beloved herd.
Thank you for taking action -- without your action, change can not happen!
