Today we honor those who have fallen in service to our country. We remember too, their steadfast non-human compatriots - the countless horses, burros and dogs - whose lives were given in service.
The brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice did so to ensure that we continue to enjoy the rights and freedoms we have as Americans. It is our duty to fully exercise these rights in their honor.

As Americans, we have the freedom to speak up, while billions around the world are not so fortunate.
We honor the sacrifice of our fallen heroes every time we raise our voices against injustice - when we bravely face the intolerable cruelty inflicted upon the wild horses and burros we cherish, and we say "no more."
Thank you for bravely standing with us in honoring the men, women and animals who lost their lives fighting for our rights, our freedoms.
Never, ever, ever give up.
